Walking Holiday In Devon

Set between Salcombe and Dartmouth in the beautiful South Hams, Lamacraft Farm Cottages offer peaceful, dog-friendly holiday accommodation just half a mile on foot from Hallsands Beach in South Devon.

Approached along winding lanes through rolling countryside, the cottages have direct access to footpaths leading to Hallsands, the South West Coast Path, the South Hams Way, National Trust clifftops and Start Point Lighthouse.

From here, you can walk towards Beesands and Slapton, or in the other direction to Prawle Point, Gara Rock and East Portlemouth, where you can catch the ferry across to Salcombe.

Beach Holiday In Devon 

South Devon is an amazing area to explore. Especially the Start Point area. Largely unspoilt and less frantic than it's big brother Salcombe yet just across the estuary as the crow flies. Hallsands beach has free parking and is great for kayaking and exploring the little coves and the lost village of South Hallsands. Beesands is an amble over the hill in the opposite direction to Start Point along the coastal path to the lovely gastro pub The Cricket Inn or Britannia at Beesands - seafood, cafe, deli and shop! Salcombe is about 30 minutes by car or you can travel to East Portlemouth and then travel over via ferry.
