Wisteria Cottage is an end of terrace coastal cottage situated on a non-working farm in the South Hams, Devon. Equidistant from the beautiful coastal towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. It is one cottage at the end of a terrace of three within a group of four situated at Lamacraft Farm, less than a mile by footpath from the beautiful beach of North Hallsands which links up in both directions for the stunning South West Coast Footpath from Hallsands beach, either towards the fishing village of Beesands or the iconic Start Point Lighthouse and onwards to Lannacombe beach, East Prawle and East Portlemouth. With super fast broadband to premises 50-70Mbps you can work from home even on holiday!

All these beaches are dog friendly all year long and the pubs are all very dog friendly too!  There are sea views and stunning skies over Start Bay from the gardens. Views from the master bedroom of Start Bay and also from the conservatory and the enclosed garden and wider gardens. This is an awe inspiring dramatic coastline with lots of beautiful beaches and little coves to explore. If you enjoy walking or running the coastal path it's the ideal spot to explore from.

Amazing birdwatching see if you can spot the rare cirl bunting now only found in South Devon. We have spotted them see if you can! There are buzzards and seals and all sorts of wildlife to be found here there are even deer in the garden! There are so many beautiful places to explore from here.

Wisteria Cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms plus an additional single sofa bed in the lounge if you find you need an extra bed. (So seven in total).

There is an upstairs shower room and a separate WC downstairs, along with a brand new fitted kitchen (February 2020) with dishwasher and washing machine with a dining area for six, and the sitting room with a woodburning stove with a wooden floor and sofas.

The conservatory has a second dining area and a seating area with views across the countryside and far-reaching views across Start Bay. There is also a second woodstove to keep you warm in the evening. (NB the conservatory is a seasonal room as is the nature of conservatories)

Own gated and fenced (so great for dogs!) outside gravelled back patio area with table and chairs and sea and countryside views. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but we do ask for them to be kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.

"My husband and I and our 3 children have just left this cottage after spending a lovely week there. The location is amazing and has lots of fantastic walks and views. We walked down to the beach at Hallsands most days and our children were absolutely tired out from the steep hill walk back but thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is located down lots of tiny roads but you do get used to this and people seem pretty friendly. The cottage is lovely and has a great conservatory which has very comfy sofas and a great view of the hills and sea, the only downside and is me being picky is that the cottage could do with a dishwasher and has plenty of room for one in the kitchen. We will definitely be back here again."
